Smoky Maple 13" Cutting Board

Smoky Maple 13" Cutting Board

This paddle-shaped maple cutting board has a tapered handle with a hole for hanging. Its darker color comes from a higher kiln-drying temperature, no chemicals added, giving it a faint smoky scent. Hand wash only; not dishwasher safe.

Description

This paddle shaped board has a tapered handle with hole for hanging. Though significantly darker, these boards are maple, just like the lighter equivalents. The difference is in how the wood is kiln-dried. The Smoky Maple™ is heated to a higher temperature - that's it. No chemicals, no short-cuts. The wood has a faint odor that resembles smoke. Again, this merely from the drying process - no chemicals have been added to the wood. Hand wash only. Do not put in the dishwasher.

Discontinued - limited stock available.
